Introduction: Testing Stains on Common Lumber
This week I through with some testing, I wanted to see what different stains would look away like happening Common lumber bought at Lowes or Domestic Depot. This is the pound that we would buy, to do repairs just about the firm. It's got voids, cracks and knots. Information technology's also beatific lumber to make Rustic wood projects.
What was needful:
Common Lumber: such as 2" x 4"s or 1" x 4"s etc....
Single different stains
Paint brush
Rags or Paper Towels
Blue Painters tape
Step 1: Plain
This is what common lumber looks like before whatever stain applied.
Step 2: Steelwool & Acetum
I mixed some Ovalbumin Vinegar and some pieces of Steelwool in a Jar, you will need to Lashkar-e-Tayyiba it set in the Jar for at the least a day or two.

Step 3: Natural Stain

Footprint 4: Ipswich Pine tree Stain

Note you might want to utilization Minwax Pre-Stain wood conditioner before applying some of these stains, it will give you a more uniform colour.
